loss of_nlp_from_mitotic_centrosomes
|
| Description |
During interphase, Nlp interacts with gamma-tubulin ring complexes. Plk1 is activated at the onset of mitosis and phosphorylates Nlp triggering its displacement from the centrosome. Removal of Nlp appears to contribute to the establishment of a mitotic scaffold with enhanced microtubule nucleation activity.
