Brain Morphology and Function Report

Basic Information
Name Visual cortex
Brain Morphology The visual cortex of the brain is located in the occipital lobe, in the back of the brain. The term visual cortex refers to the primary visual cortex (also known as striate cortex or V1) and extrastriate visual cortical areas such as V2, V3, V4, and V5. The primary visual cortex is anatomically equivalent to Brodmann area 17, or BA17. The extrastriate cortical areas consist of Brodmann area 18 and Brodmann area 19.
Brain Function The visual cortex of the brain is that part of the cerebral cortex responsible for processing visual information.

2. User can drag the nodes to rearrange the layout of the network. Click the node will enter the report page of the node. Right-click will show also the menus to link to the report page of the node and remove the node and related edges. Hover the node will show the level of the node and hover the edge will show the evidence/description of the edge.
