Cell Report

Basic Information
Name Lymphocytes
Description White blood cells formed in the body's lymphoid tissue. The nucleus is round or ovoid with coarse, irregularly clumped chromatin while the cytoplasm is typically pale blue with azurophilic (if any) granules. Most lymphocytes can be classified as either T or B (with subpopulations of each), or NATURAL KILLER CELLS.

lymphocyte Targum, 1989 patients and normal controls P-value-value<0.01 Depressed women revealed significantly reduced absolute lymp...... Depressed women revealed significantly reduced absolute lymphocytes (p less than 0.01), T cells (p less than 0.01), and T helper cells (p less than 0.02) compared to normal elderly women. More...
Lymphocyte Schleifer, 1984 patients and normal controls Lymphocyte stimulation by phytohemagglutinin, concanavalin A...... Lymphocyte stimulation by phytohemagglutinin, concanavalin A, and pokeweed mitogen was significantly lower in a group of hospitalized depressed patients than in matched controls. More...
Lymphocyte Lima, 2002 patients and normal controls Lymphocytes serotonin transporter number was significantly r...... Lymphocytes serotonin transporter number was significantly reduced, while the affinity was unchanged, in patients with major depression disorder as compare to controls. More...
lymphocyte Fajardo, 2003 patients and normal controls There was a reduction in serotonin turnover rate indicated b...... There was a reduction in serotonin turnover rate indicated by an increase in the ratio serotonin/5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid, but not in that of dopamine, in lymphocytes of major depression patients. More...
lymphocytes Mizrahi, 2004 patients and normal controls The basal concentration of cAMP was 50% lower in mononuclear...... The basal concentration of cAMP was 50% lower in mononuclear cells and lymphocytes from the depressed patients compared with the control subjects. The response to forskolin was significantly smaller in lymphocytes of major depression patients than in the controls, but no difference was evident in the mononuclear cell preparations. There was a significant increase in cAMP produced by 5HT in mononuclear cells from the control group, but not in their lymphocytes. More...
lymphocyte Gonzalez, 2007 patients and normal controls Basal proliferation was three times higher in depressed pati...... Basal proliferation was three times higher in depressed patients than in controls More...

2. User can drag the nodes to rearrange the layout of the network. Click the node will enter the report page of the node. Right-click will show also the menus to link to the report page of the node and remove the node and related edges. Hover the node will show the level of the node and hover the edge will show the evidence/description of the edge.
3. The network is generated using Cytoscape Web Cytoscape Web
