Brain Morphology and Function Report

Basic Information
Name Cognitive control network
Brain Morphology The cognitive control network (CCN), serves attention demanding cognitive tasks and exhibits activity increases in frontal and parietal regions associated with top-down modulation of attention and working memory tasks.
Brain Function The CCN is involved in decision making and conflict resolution and is known to be impaired in depression. A number of previous studies have found depression-related abnormalities in the CCN, mostly involving decreased task-related activity. Other studies have identified increased task-related "effective" connectivity of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and dorsal cingulate in depression (PMID: 20534464).

2. User can drag the nodes to rearrange the layout of the network. Click the node will enter the report page of the node. Right-click will show also the menus to link to the report page of the node and remove the node and related edges. Hover the node will show the level of the node and hover the edge will show the evidence/description of the edge.
3. The network is generated using Cytoscape Web Cytoscape Web
