The genotype distributions of ?132C>T and IVS1+85T>C deviated significantly from HWE in MDD but not in normal subjects (Table 2); those of the other SNPs were in HWE. Thegenotype distribution of ?132C>T and IVS1+85T>C differed significantly between MDD and normal subjects; the % of MDD patients who were ?132TT homozygotes was 5.1%, which was higher than the 1.0% of normal subjects with this status (p=0.021, odds ratio (OR)=6.81 with 1.34¨C34.58 of 95% confidence interval (CI); Table 2).
