SNP rs12936694 in the ALKBH5 locus was strongly associated with MDD (uncorrected p=0.0008, OR=1.491,95%CI 1.179¨C1.887), with a global p value of 0.0036 after 10,000 permutations (Table 2). Genotypic association was detected for rs12936694 ( METTL3 locus showed a weak association with MDD (uncorrected ¦Ö2=12.26, df=2, p=0.0022).
